BULK TRAIL TRANSFER
SMI launched its Bulk Rail Transfer facility in 1994 with three overhead 100mt bins, a 100ft truck scale and a rail/truck receiving pit. Today, this facility consists of ten overhead steel bins and five mass flow protein silos. The convenient high-speed truck loading and unloading are located central to Ontario's pork, beef, dairy and poultry producers.
TRANSLOADING
Located on a CN rail line, SMI has the capacity to transload dry bulk material either direct from rail-to-truck or truck-to-rail.
